The New Hospital Employee Resource is an online resource for the hospital-based acupuncturist from offer of employment to 5+ years of practice in the field.
I define "hospital-based" as:
- working as a clinician in a facility or organization that is accredited by or eligible for accreditation by The Joint Commission. This includes hospitals, outpatient and inpatient settings, ambulatory clinics, county clinics, county hospitals, FQHCs, federal health care facilities, and more. The underlying common denominators are: being accredited or eligible for accreditation by The Joint Commission (TJC). TJC is a quality assurance/quality improvement nonprofit organization that reviews clinical safety and credentialing standards for health care facilities in the U.S.
It is possible that this work applies to acupuncturists working in hospital-based settings outside of the U.S. However, my base of knowledge is limited to the U.S. (United States of America)
If you wish to have access to this resource but are not based in the U.S., please send me your query via the HHP website contact page: https://www.thehospitalhandbook.com/contact-1
Thank you.
